The volume presents 239 copies of Ur tablets (mostly from the Old Babylonian period, but also from Ur III and Old Akkadian periods), copied by the late lamented Jeremy Black in the Iraq Museum during the 80's. To them 58 copies of Ur tablets of the Old Babylonian period copied by G. Spada in the British Museum are added.
